I too used that crap and just ruined my floors. Took 3 people and 3 days to remove It, I used straight ammonia with a soft sos pad and It came off. Now we are going to put a varnish on recommended by the floor co....
They should ban that stuff from the Mkt....What a joke. Got tennis elbow In the process from scrubbing.....
Thanks orange glo....

Rennay -- yep, it should work to get the orange glo wax off. Give it a try on your floors-- if it doesn't work I'll refund your money ASAP. Thanks for the comment.

Kathy - it's worth a try to get the orange glo scratches off. Orange glo leaves a film of wax, so that can show scratches over time. Give it a try and if it doesn't work let me know and your money back no problem!

After using orange glo floor re-finisher 5-6 times over the past 4 years - my floors are not streaked or hazing BUT ... my little 18 lbs dog has left scratches in the finish. I recently had my kitchen remodeled - she's not making scratches there ... must be the orange glo ... can your product help me too?

I thought I was never going to be able to remove the orange glo that was all over my floors! I spent hours cleaning and cleaning my wood floors, but there will still streaks and wax all over them from the orange glo cleaner. The tips that are in this guide were very helpful to me in helping me to finally remove all the orange glo that was covering my new wood floors. It takes some work but it does get the orange glo off with good success.

Orange glo left white streaks all over my floors. I thought it was a $3,000 loss! I worked hours and hours to get that orange glo mess off - contractors came in and told me it was going to be $1k to refinish the floors. I finally tried this solution after trying everything else (including magic sponge, vinegar, etc.) This solution worked like a charm (though I still had to sweat!) Good luck everybody!

I had a real problem getting orange glo off my hardwood floors. I agree with all the comments above -- Orange glo cleaner should be banned! Orange glo film really made my floors look dull, and I had just had them refinished! My contractor told me I was going to have to have them completely sanded down and refinished - $2000 job - but I was able to take clean off the orange glo myself and save all the money! I already had Windex in the house - so I could do it right away!

Hi Karen - yes the vinegar solution that some have suggested does work on some stains, but does not help get the streaks of mop and glo or orange glo off wood floors. The especially is true for the laminate floors - it already has polyurethane on it, so adding glo products on top does NOT help matters. It will only make a huge mess of white streaks and film.

I tried a vinegar solution to try and get orange glo film off my floors, and it didn't seem to work either. I finally broke down and tried this method on this site and it worked great for me! It takes some work to get off, folks, no doubt about that, but it can be done! Thank The Lord - I thought my floors were ruined from Orange Glo! Well worth the $5 for the cleaning tips (much cheaper than even buying some special cleaning product from Home Depot.)
